Blue-Eyed Grass, Sisyrinchium montanum

The blue-eyed grass is critically imperiled in Indiana.  This plant is approximately one foot tall and has light blue flowers.  The native habitat of the blue-eyed grass includes prairies and open meadows.  While it is imperiled in the wild, it is cultivated in gardens quite often.  Threats to the blue-eyed grass are habitat disturbance and herbicides.
